And just as the market thought it might get a quieter day, Iran came out swinging. To be fair, Trump escalated last night with his Freedom passage or whatever he said. Market sources thought it was just more empty talk. Meanwhile, Tehran said its controlled area is now being extended to Fujairah, while Iranian media also claimed missiles had struck a US warship near Jask Island – a claim US officials reportedly denied. Brent had a rollercoaster morning, from $109 all the way to $114 and back again at the $111 handle all in less than 40 minutes!
