There's calm in the North Sea and reasons to be hopeful for European fliers

The Peering Eye revealed a surge in AIS tomfoolery in and around the Strait of Hormuz. Many ships turned off their transponders last night as things were kicking off between the US and Iran again. Several vessels appeared clustered very tightly in a circle looking suspiciously like spoofing and misdirection efforts. The number of vessels around Khasab, Dubai and Fujairah was much lower, as many are keeping their exact locations hidden.
