March futures volumes down ahead of expiry, strong April and May volumes

In the week ending 30 January 2026, as end of month expiry approached, exchange traded volumes in March Brent futures fell to under half their level of the previous week. The rolling of positions is evident in the increase of over 57% in April Brent futures.
