Exchange-traded volumes w/w were largely up, contrastingly, volumes y/y were got battered!

In the week ending 26 June 2026, exchange traded futures volumes were predominantly up w/w. Brent volumes were up 25.17% and 9.47% in the Sep and Oct tenors respectively. However, the front month did fall by almost 20%. Gasoil volumes were up around 40% in the Aug and Sep tenors while the Oct tenor could only manage an 11% gain. Heating Oil volumes went nuclear; the Sep tenor was up over 100%!
