Exchange-traded futures volumes were mixed w/w but predominantly down y/y.

In the week ending 31 July 2026, exchange traded futures volumes were mixed. Brent volumes in the M2 tenor were up 13.82% while the M1 and M3 tenors were down almost 49% and 10% respectively. Gasoil volumes were essentially unmoved for both the Sep and Oct tenor, contrastingly, the Nov tenor volumes increased by 12.19%. Heating Oil saw its volumes in the Sep tenor drop over 16%, the Oct tenor increase by 4.61% and the Nov tenor surge just over 25%.
