Exchange-traded futures volumes were mixed w/w but y/y volumes were predominantly down.
In the week ending 17 July 2026, exchange traded futures volumes had mixed fortunes. Brent volumes were up 6.95% and 9.58% in the Oct and Nov tenors respectively while the Sep tenor slipped just 0.8%. Gasoil volumes similarly saw modest gains of approximately 6% in the Oct and Nov tenors but a decline in the Sep tenor of 6.44%. Heating Oil volumes saw M1 tank 13.31% while M2 slipped just 6.20%. The M3 tenor held flat ticking up just 0.58%.
