Exchange-traded volumes w/w predominantly rose where as volumes y/y got whacked!

In the week ending 3 July 2026, exchange traded futures volumes were predominantly up w/w. Brent volumes were up 12.77% and almost 40% in the Sep and Oct tenors respectively. However, the front month did fall by just over 15%. Gasoil volumes were up around 25% in the Aug and Sep tenors while the Oct tenor could only manage an 11% gain. Heating Oil volumes in the Aug and Sep tenors jumped up 34.35% and 42% respectively. The Oct tenor was essentially unmoved though, ticking up just under 3%.
