We feared more weekend boom boom and they delivered. That means Trump’s looking at higher oil prices again. Brent gapped up at the open, from $76 at Friday’s final close to $79 at today’s open! It almost touched $80 again, though dropped back to $78.01/bbl by the Asian close.

The ultimate outcome of reignited conflict and risk of droning is increasing mistrust, damage to the region (on both sides of the Gulf) and gumming up of the global economic system. Nobody wins!
