The WAF situation is rippling out, as a source said “lots [is] going under the radar” at the moment. The source commented that the chartering market has been “super busy” all week, but deals are being kept under wraps and private. A source in Nigeria confirmed that several deals are going ahead, though didn’t provide more details. Norway finally managed to avert its drilling strike, as unions agreed on a trade deal last night before the midnight deadline. That means over 600 workers will keep labouring in the North Sea. But North Sea pricing remains exceptionally feeble.
