The Iranian and US demands have been rewritten and new proposals delivered. We think the only real changes are the font and formatting – both sides keep demanding the same things! It is getting boring really and the US is backed into a corner. There is an all you can eat TACO buffet, as OFAC is set to extend the waiver on purchases of seaborne Russian oil, for the third time… The EU says US communication on this emphasises that it’s “temporary” – but if you keep renewing temporary forever, it becomes permanent 😊.
