Brent is down as we follow the usual pattern of bullish evenings and quiet throughout the day...

The most implicit admission the US is preparing to back out came from Bessent, who said oil will be sub-$80 within a couple of months. Preparing the ground for a TACO? Of course, they’re looking at Brent and WTI futures as the indicator for prices, rather than the physical prices actually driving the market. Today, Brent futures declined through the day, even falling to under $100 after the window – down more than $6 from this morning!
